Our Story
For over 12 years, I took care of my aging parents when they were no longer able to care for themselves. As my parents progressed with dementia and cancer, I provided very personal care including bathing, feeding, transportation and accompanying them to their doctor’s visits. I became very familiar with navigating the complex world of home care including physician referrals, and the many challenges of insurance coverage. It was overwhelming for one person to provide the quality of care needed for my parents to continue living safely in their home.
I want to help others in the community navigate the complex challenges that I experienced. I started a home care agency providing caregivers in the home. A few years later, my nephew and I established Spirit Home Health Care to provide skilled nursing and therapy services. Eymen and I are blessed to have knowledgeable and dedicated staff walk with us on this journey.
